THE SLOBODA “ZGARDA” IS A CONFLUENCE OF ENERGY
The mountain forest area around the village of Sloboda has always been attractive due to two factors: the composition of the air conditioned with a unique mixture of coniferous and deciduous trees and the oil deposits in the ground. As to how well we can judge the air, we feel the quality of our skin and lungs, so we know little about the effects of the oil. Except about its ability to provide fire, and the oil contains a whole range of minerals, it is a natural antiseptic. The potential of the Sloboda Resort only recently began to develop in a new way. Here, in an area of one and a half hectares, the Borteychuk family from Kolomyia methodically rebuilt the resort "Zǵarda". It was built on the site of several production facilities of a former farm. The place is set perfectly in a broad basin between two mountain ranges. Therefore, all the energy in the air is concentrated, it accumulates and blends in this basin. On the south hill, you encounter sources of oil-bearing layers with different concentrations of minerals, formed underground. They have created therapeutic water. Last year the Borteychuk family launched the production of mineral water "Sloboda" that stimulates the function of the stomach and liver, calms the nervous system. In its initial phase, the buildings at Zgarda can accommodate 35 visitors, who are provided with comfortable rooms. The owner of the resort and husband to Lily Borteychuk, Mr. Roman, hopes that their Zgarda will grow in popularity amongst tourists. Because nature has prepared this place for centuries. There have already been distinguished scientists like Tatyana Alexandrovic (head of the clinic, the Institute of Rehabilitation for Patients with Pathology and Respiratory Issues, Professor Andrew Holovatsky (author of the three-volume "Human Anatomy"), and George Lyutiy (author of the textbook "Code of Ukraine on Mineral Resources") from Kiev and many other distinguished visitors. A week course on self-improvement was conducted at Zgarda by known doctor Alexander Pavlenko. The course was based on the endogenous diet, herbal medicine and exercise. After each class, the entire team went into the mountains. "Of course, everyone can rest, not only those who need tourism and resorts provided, admits Roman Borteychuk, you simply eat and lie down under the sun, or near the river anywhere. We developed the concept of wellness. The whole infrastructure is aimed in that direction. It would be a sin to not use this particular recreational territory wisely.” A forest covered with mushrooms and grasses, rests near the wooden cottages and buildings of the resort. Rabbits run around. A family of wild pigs live somewhere near, and they sometimes wonder through the resort. "This is a very polite culture," says the chief cook who lives at the cherished resort, Les Stefanyshin who knows each door latch by memory. Gazebos, a playground and fish ponds are placed in the resort. For adrenaline, there are mountain bikes and ATVs. But the greatest commodity is the healthy air and mineral water.
